I never had any interest from my original post. Since then the keyboard has remained largely un-used apart from lending it to a friend (for a year) who plays in church but was without a keyboard at home to practice on. To try and sell it this time and perhaps allay any fears I have removed the ...

Korg PA800 with EXB MP3 and Upgraded Keybed For Sale

Up for sale is my custom PA800. It basically consists of a modified PA800 with a Roland Fantom XR module fitted inside and the keybed replaced with one from a Studiologic VMK-161 Plus Organ master keyboard. Some pictures of the keyboard can be viewed here and here . All of the connections are ...

Thanks for pointing that out. I have changed it to a link, for some reason the embedded image didn't seem to work today, but it worked OK last night...weird.

siga, I expect it is of no use to you because I imagine you live nowhere near me to come and collect but I have just put these bits up for free in the buy/sell section: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=40918 If you want semi-weighted keys I would suggest you look out for a used ...

Bits left over from PA800XR build - free - must collect.

Some of you may remember I made up a my own custom PA800XR keboard from a PA800, Studiologic VMK-161 Plus Organ and Roland Fantom XR, see here and here for pics :) Anyway I had some bits left over which since I haven't used them after 18 months I would like to find a good home for them for someone ...

I didn't even know you had too. I have never done this, I just checked the manual and it makes no reference for a requirement to turn the device off. When plugging and unplugging the stick you get a message flash up on the screen which is perfectly normally and just indicates the PA800 is perfectly ...

Re: What are you wishing for in OS 2.0 in Pa800/Pa2xpro?

I'd like to know what you all are hoping/wishing for is included in the new Pa800/Pa2xpro OS 2.0? Well given Korg's rather bold statement in the announcement: exciting new features that will make you think it is a whole new keyboard I would go for. ........ New Karma parts to sit alongside ...

That's right no need to save to performance 1-1. The only reason to save it in the 1-1 performance is if you wanted the board to power up with a particular transpose setting that wouldn't then get overridden by merely selecting a new performance.

Best Regards
Paul.

I suspect the problem here is that because English is not shmuelsan's native language that there is an interpretation issue. I would say based on the wording that it is quite possible that shmuelsan has used an automatic translator. I suggest we don't get too upset. Shmuelsan may just be struggling ...

Rob, thanks for your response. After experimenting some more, I think as you say there is some resonance effect due to location, mounting, size of room etc. I am surprised it is such a sharp resonance around a small frequency range, but maybe I am just being oversensitive to it now that I have ...

Actually it is D1, that causes the problem - and on the PA800. I have been experimenting some more tonight and it is very strange, I do not hear it on the headphones or through an external speaker. But on the internal speakers it very noticeably has a lot more bass on this one note. I tried again ...

D1 on 'Grand Piano Rx' Sound

The D2 on the 'Grand Piano RX' sound (at least I think it is D2, maybe D1), seems to play more loudly and more bassy than the other surrounding notes (C2, E2 etc.). I really find it rather annoying. Has anyone else noticed this? It appears to be the sound itself rather than the keybed, because ...
