ok, time to change the keys...
ok guys..just bought the 800....can someone recommend keys that i can use on the 800 in place of the keys that come with the 800..i love the feel of the M3 keys , i also remember playing the tyros 2 and loving its keys ( more fast action, light keys that dont feel cheap), anyone know of a something close to that that might work>? thanks!

May I suggest that, if it is not too late, take your PA800 back to your retailer and get the PA2Xpro...

Anything can be done...what you have to ask yourself is:
Do you have the talent?
What will it do to resale value?
What will it look like?
Are you prepared to eat the cost of a significant repair if you screw it up?
Will it really give you what you want, vs, buying something different?
One alternative is to put a MIDI controller keyboard directly under the PA.
Then you have a cool setup with 2 maunals. You could use a 61, 76 or even a 88 hammer action.

siga, I expect it is of no use to you because I imagine you live nowhere near me to come and collect but I have just put these bits up for free in the buy/sell section:

If you want semi-weighted keys I would suggest you look out for a used SL-161 keyboard which can be picked up very cheap. The keys are a direct replacement for your PA800 ones but you do need to open up your keyboard so it is not for the faint-hearted.
