I don't know for the 1st question, but the 2nd is very easy: download the original preload in the official korg site at www.korgpa.com and load it following the provided instructions.

I think that the "copy fm pad" function, available in style record -> style edit area is what you need to pass the pad data into a style.

you can prepare a fill or a intro in 2/4, so that it will match your song.

It's not very easy sometimes to fit 2/4 measure in the middle of song so I used this workaround to solve the problem.
