i dont think it is the right time to come up another workstation when m50 has done so good worldwide....m50 should be given some more time to help it become a legend...the only improvement that i desperately look forward is a new firmware version that would enable numeric entry to act as favorite ...

the action of m50/61 is not like a spring .it is more like an original pano(m50 61 is unweighted)....the keys seem to have a slow rise after they have been pressed down.....most yamaha keyboards seem rather springy save of course their 88 key models. u will get adapted to whatever keybed u may chose ...

:) mr.billbaker i think ur second method needs a lot of computing on the numeric keys to call up locations that have say 2 digit assignments.for eg: to call up the 12th tone u have to press one then two then the enter .since m50 is devoid of 10s hold as u might come across in all earlier korg models ...

8) same problem happened to me as well earlier when i had more than 4 timbres assigned to 4 diff prog patches in a combi.....i dont know why on earth korg boasts of 16 multitimbral capability in a combi when u end up with notedropping with just 4 timbres per combi(with exclusive solo turned on) in a ...
