Follow up on my M50 repair odyssey
The button set I ordered came after only 3 days and I was very happy they got there so fast but I had to wait a few additional days to get the Service Manual which just came today. The Service Manual turned out to be a rip off scam. It was a 26 page PDF of schematics except for the first page which ...

http://www.guitar-parts.com/catalog/korg Parts list is on the same page! Woo HOO! Finally I am able to get replacement parts and a service manual so I can repair my junk quality Korg M50-88 that started making clacking noises on the second day I owned it! Also the black buttons are so stiff that I ...

junky parts used by Korg
I paid $1,799 for my Korg M50-88 and one of the white key7s started making a "clacking" sound on the second day. The round black push buttons are so hard to press that today I pressed the "Enter" button just a little bit harder than usual and it snapped and dropped down inside the piano now I have ...

*sigh* I thought I covered the "Read the manual" People in my original post but I guess not. I do have a searchable PDF manual. It came with the piano. I guess I still didn't make myself clear, INTRODUCTORY Video's and HOW TO are not the same as a technical manual. I will look for the other videos ...

Also I forgot to mention that the TASCAN will burn MP3 CD's right there by itself if you want, I personally export the files into Sony Software because I like the ease of final mixing, fine tuning and adding additional prerecorded tracks for special effects using the computer screen which I find ...

Here is how I make MP3 recording with the Korg M50. From the M50 I plug into a TASCAN DP2 8 track portable recording studio. I love the Tascan DP-2 and would highly recommend it to everyone. 1) It converts the Korg file format into a file format that my Sony Studio computer software can easily deal ...

The single greatest improvement to Korg EVER!
CD's that teach how to use it. The funny thing is Korg wouldn't have to spend a penny on making it either if they asked people to email videos of explaining how things really worked. And to all the "read the manual" people out there. I'm tired of spending 6-8 hours trying out all the different ...

drum tracks in Prograqm mode
Hi: I am pretty sure you can change the drum track in a program just as easily as yo can in Combi mode. You can save the modified Program by pressing the "Write" command but unfortunately, Korg in all of it's wisdom, does not provide for blank Program slots so you will have to overwrite some other ...

RPPR dead keys below C#2 in M50-88
Why are the RPPR dead keys set so high? The M50 is supposed to be a professional workstation, so why can't I program as much or as few dead keys as I want? Am I a baby who cannot be trusted? I would like to actually play some of those tones and have RPPR set as well. Why did I pay for 88 keys and ...

Copy files from one directory and pasting them to another
Hello: When I write new songs I like to name a directory and put all my musical ideas into the 128 file slots in that directory. I have different directories for different songs. I would now like to copy musical ideas out of one directory and paste it into a different directory so I can create ...
