The best deal you'll find at the moment is to buy in the US--which you got covered already ;) Folks in EU are paying something like 30% markup compared to us (US). Beyond that, there are always those famous 15% GC coupons... Gc would just be about 6% off after taxes though. I'm willing to wait as ...

Best deal on korg Kronos 88
I got the money burning a hole in my pocket to buy a korg Kronos 88.
Where is the best place I can get a deal?
I am in Ca. So that probably excludes dealers in Ca due to sales tax.
If you know a dealer or are a dealer you can just pm me. This is a serious request.
Thanks all!

I have to say, all the reports about the build quality have me concerned. For a $3000+ keyboard, it's simply not acceptable if the rumors are true. I wait til I have my own PERSONAL hands on one to verify. In the meantime I'm hoping these are isolated incidents or Korg has a (Painless) fix in the ...

Well I'm glad for them and hope these use this time to continue polishing the kronos. Maybe add those extra 2GB of ram would be nice and make sure no knobs are falling off of it. I'd sure rather they got it right then release something faulty that had to be shipped back to Japan for God's sake. Use ...

Thanks guys for the excellent demos. I think I'm going to be more than happy with the guitar sounds. Some of those karma ones are amazing. Out of curiosity, what is the instrument that plays at about 1:20 ON THE STR-1 Acoustic Guitar demo? I never hear that thing except in classical music and movies ...

Question on Kronos guitars
Kronos will be my first synth other than a little microkorg. I have a lot of sheet music with guitar parts. If I play the guitar part on the kronos keyboard with a guitar instrument will it sound just as if I had played that part with a guitar? Will it be close at least - will it pass if I push to ...

Patches compatible with kronos
I'm curious what patches are compatible with the Kronos?
Can I download oasys patches and run them? M3? M50? Radias? Triton? MS2000/microkorg? D7? anything else?
I want to start going to the various places and collecting compatible patches on a USB flash drive.

Kronos onboard HELP manual is in English by DEFAULT. The manual says appears to say it can be in Japanese but haven't located how to do that. Page iii, says onboard help is in English language ONLY. That's funny because I actually read that...I thought it said English-Japanese only. Wow...need to ...

About the keys. How I see it, is that the Kronos Weighted RH3 keybed have heavier keys on the left and lighter keys on the right. Making the keys to the Right better for Synth solo's which is good. As an alternative, you could trade the Prophet 08 module to the keyboard version. I had the Prophet ...
