I have to say, all the reports about the build quality have me concerned. For a $3000+ keyboard, it's simply not acceptable if the rumors are true. I got a great deal on a motif xf so I got that instead. Don't want to wait X months. Probably makes more sense anyway since im a cubase guy.

Question, on that combi you played at the end, was that just you playing or was that you playing and karma together or was that multiple parts you overlayed? I really though that was beautiful.

Just the Oasys and yamaha DX7(and some other Yamaha FM synth's) are compatible. Then it should be compatible with the sampled instruments in .ksf format from oasys/m3/tritons etc I think. Does it support .ksc and .kmp files as well? If it supports DX7 does that mean it supports ni fm7/fm8 patches?

I'm curious what patches are compatible with the Kronos?

Can I download oasys patches and run them? M3? M50? Radias? Triton? MS2000/microkorg? D7? anything else?

About the keys. How I see it, is that the Kronos Weighted RH3 keybed have heavier keys on the left and lighter keys on the right. Making the keys to the Right better for Synth solo's which is good.
