Over four years and around 500 gigs now with my original Kronos and rock solid for all of that time until about 2 months ago, when it failed to boot at a rehearsal due to unseated ram. Opened it up, reseated the ram and reassembled - all done in 20 minutes or so, so not necessarily the end of the ...

With U-A 064 I got the Poly Meter up to 140-150 - the meter DOES drop back to zero, but it takes around 12-13 seconds after I stop playing to do so. All of that group of clav patches exhibit the same behaviour. They shouldn't do that though. Anything that eats up the poly when no sound is being ...

Hmmm. I can make it happen even without KARMA running on select COMBI's The PCG programming on certain PROG sounds is still wrong also. For example, don't play a note yet. First select PROG U-A 064 Clav Register AD and then go the Pref Meter page. Notice the poly count is at 0. Now play 1 short ...

I've racked up almost three years of constant gigging with the Kronos now, and it's been totally reliable. To be on the safe side I always run from a UPS, which has got me through the three or four times in that period when there have been power outages.

Just a cautionary note about Gator moulded cases... I have two, for my Kronos and my Jupiter 80. I gig a lot, and most of the time my gear is in transit or being loaded in and out of venues, so the cases take a bit of a hammering - and in this respect they hold up very well, giving good protection ...

Just over two years of constant use now and has never crashed once. I'm really pleased about this as I gig a lot and my K spends a lot of time in transit and being moved in and out of venues. Rock solid so far!

I'm in a similar situation and my gear is often in the van! I do worry a little about it - but I try to get it into the venue and out of the flightcase and set, then leave it for half an hour or so before turning it on, when time allows. This gives it a chance to acclimatise, and I've had no ...
