You can create other organs in the HD1 Sampler and assign envelopes to them. Based on the purposes that you mention, I don't really think you need the CX3 engine for the sound you're looking for. You're talking about taking a basic organ and making it non-organ (but organ based) with the envelopes ...

I'm in the minority, I'm sure. I keep the Kronos at 25% for live performance. I play in a worship band, and the way our sound guys keep the board, my signal clips at much over that point. I'm sure that they like to keep the gain about the same on all of the channels as we change positions over time ...

If you use the copy from program command, that timber you assign your program to changes to GCh I too have found this to be the easiest way to add programs to a combi. If you go to program mode, and audition programs leaving the one that you want selected, then go back to the combi mode and use the ...

+1 - Agreed!

This case fits my 88 great, and protects it very well. My Kronos travels locally 1-2 times weekly, and this case is perfect.

Great video. I have explored this engine some, and used it quite a bit. Now I'll be better at getting exactly what I want out of it.

Thanks much!

No, you have to use a camera connection kit or other core midi capable interface. The camera connection kit is easy and not expensive.

I agree with the OP. I too find myself coming here much less and contributing much less because of the negativity - much over "issues" that are not real (granted, also some over real issues). This forum is not owned or controlled by Korg, they simply give the community the server space to host. If a ...

Lemur for iPad Example

A recent thread here on Korg Forums posed a question about triggering an individual pad and having that pad sustain until the next pad is triggered. In thinking about this problem, I realized that this would be a good project to use to learn about controlling the Kronos from the new Lemur for iPad ...

See the sticky thread on PCG tools. This program can do what you want. If you move them in the Kronos itself, you'll have to edit the combis as you suspect.

Maybe I'm missing something. What would another internal SSD do for you that a USB drive wouldn't ? Sounds like it was treated by the kronos as an external drive really.

Also, it really can't be a bug if it's a nonworking unadvertised function.

I do like GC (no flame war here please) but the seem to always lose the accessories 'in the back'! Congratulations on your new board! I've had mine since July and love it more and more over time. If your DVD drive is port powered and you wanted to be "safe", you could connect it to a powered USB hub which is then connected to the Kronos. Then the hub is supplying the port power rather than the Kronos.

You'll undoubtedly get lots of opinions about how many people are having how much trouble. My K88 was an early one and I've not had any trouble at all. I'm super happy with it. I do think that a potential buyer reading the forum at this point probably gets a view that's a bit more slanted to the ...
