If you're a windows (I don't think it's mac compatible) user try The Glitch VST. It's pretty old but it's free. I use it all the time. =D

I brought it this morning. it sounds awesome.
There's no sequencer but there's an advanced arpeggiator that's ideal for making simple melodies. There's a recording feature and it supports audio copy.
I'd recommend getting it now while it's half price. =]

Well I've been using the ielectribe and the iMS20 in a few new tracks that I'm working on. I'll be selling the album when I'm done and clearing samples is a hassle. I'd expect the samples to be cleared before the app went on sale to be honest.

Right, the unofficial kit came in the post earlier. It works great with my NanoPad =].

I didn't know that it could accept external midi notes. Maybe that will be included in a future update to the original version
The whole thing about the samples not being cleared kind of put me off with the the Gorrilaz edition anyways.

If you're looking for something to use live then you're probably going to be better off with a laptop running Ableton and a cheap midi controller keyboard. Or something similar, software's always going to be more flexible in a live situation nowadays.

I'm guessing that the Gorillaz edition works exactly the same as the standard version. There's no way of perfectly sequencing pitch in iElectribe but if you set the motion sequence control to trigger hold and record the movement of the pitch knob then you should be able to get a stepped melody (sort ...

When you open up iMS20 tap the browser button (top left hand corner) this should come up with a media browser page. in the bottom left corner you will see the display picture of the soundcloud account that's currently linked to iMS20. Click it and it will take you to the soundcloud website in safari ...

The clicks are still there even with the accents off, bringing the filter down on the synth parts gets rid of it but then you can't you any other effects on anything else.
