Triton Edit Pro does not work with Win7 ?!?

Hi, I tested Triton Edit Pro with Win7/64 and Win7/32 using a USB-midi cable (standard like viewcon) and it does not work. I'm using the latest drivers but nothing makes it work properly : when selecting programs, they are correctly updated on the synth, but in the edition menu of the computer ...

Thanks for the feedback. Actually I rarely programmed sounds because it's not very convenient to use the touchscreen instead of knobs ... Not sure that programming the MOSS is easier, but I find interesting to have two synths in one to create a little diversity without adding a new keyboard, but it ...

Hi Bill, I looked into the P6 of Global but did not find anything to copy from sequencer to arpegiators. Maybe that's something possible with Extreme but not with Classic ... too bad ! :(

And I guess you don't have the SCSI either ... So there mignt be another possbility if you can open the pcg file with a program/combi management on a computer, and send everything back to the Triton in SysEx via the midi cable. I never tried that, but I used the Triton Edit Pro demo which controls ...

Hi, I found this old topic wheras I was about to ask similar questions and others about the MOSS board. I really wonder about its added value to the Triton Classic, compared to EXB PCM in particular. 1. So what does it exactly bring ? 13 new OSC and 128 programs ? not possible to imitate these ...

Thanks again Bill, I am not at my home tonight to check that, but I'll try this asap when back. That's very interesting to do that anyway.

Interesting shortcut I did not know, but it apparently always copies the program to track 1. Are there many other shortcuts like this ?

Hi of course you can, but it's not as simple as a combi : you need to go to the IFX/MFX tabs and click on the top right to copy the effects, then you may need to route the program to the first IFX.

USB is not possible but some people modified their Triton to use CF cards. There's a website for this, but it's a bit expensive I think since you need the SCSI board, the CF reader, and the kit to install it. One thing specific to SCSI is that if you remove your CF, it can't be recognized when you ...

Thanks for this new input. As far as I understand, Band in a box is an arranger, but from the description found it seems that's not exactly midi. But that's interesting. Not sure I correclty got you for the process computer .mid > sequencer > arp, but programing an arp is so fastidious that I think ...

Hi, what do you mean by discolouration? I have been using mine for more than 10 years and do not complain about that, it can get darker due to dirt, yes, and that may be difficult to clean because of roughness (I use a French brand called "eau ecarlate" here, check on the Web for equivalence but be ...

Thanks for your interesting feedbacks. The arpeggiators take a while to be programmed on the synth (all the more some of my buttons are getting worn - I'll fix that one day). So I should see if Triton Edit Pro can help. Making a rhythm with a PC sequencer in mid format seems to be rather fast and ...

An equivalence to Drum Track for Triton ?

Hi all, I would like to find an easy solution to spontaneously play the Triton with a rhythm, without spending time programing in the seq mode or in the combi mode with the arpegiators. Ideally, I would like to have something equivalent to the Drum Track on M3. Is that possible to find a large ...

Finally : bolts changed, no more panel vibration, and a piece of moquette between the stand and the synth to damp, and that's ok now. Just the natural sound of the keys, especially when released, but I don't know whether that can be improved by changing the damping bands inside or not.
