Many years ago I had a similar problem when installing a new Linux kernel on my PC. The problem was caused by faulty RAM in the location where the Linux kernel itself was loaded to. With the old kernel, the fault happened to be located within a kernel function that was never (or rarely) called, so ...

Re: First true Kronos CRASH (EVER) since updating to 2.1!
I've owned the Kronos basically ever since it came out. Once in a blue moon it would get a little quirky if left on for days (or weeks) at a time but after a reboot it was always back to normal. Last night I had rehearsal and a TOTALLY different thing happened. In the middle of playing it just flat ...

See the Parameter Guide (version E6 - new manuals for 2.1!), "Auto Power-Off Setting…" in the Global Page Menu Commands. This menu command may or may not be available, depending on the model of KRONOS being used. Default time, on models which support this feature, is 4 hours, and a message will a ...

Re: Kronos -- Shuts down after install of OS 2.1
Hi guys, I recently purchased a Kronos used. It worked great for more than a week -- at home, in rehearsal, live onstage. Not a hiccup. At that point, I saw that my OS was at 2.0.6, so I decided to update to OS 2.1. I installed the update, and the keyboard immediately shut down, then tried to ...

You can't quite do it that way, no. The 5IFX, 2 MFX, and 1TFX represents the total effects processing power of the M3 or M50. When you want to start getting into complicated setups and if you're working on your own songs in song mode, you'll find that you have to make stategic compromises - subtler ...

Actually, I probably didn't. And that's a problem. Your response prompted me to learn how to copy a program properly into a combi, so I should be able to solve that now. Thanks. Can you (or anyone else) tell me ... There are some songs for which I need, say, a keyboard sound (like an acoustic piano ...

No leslie effect on organ combis
Hey all,
Whenever I build a combi from scratch that uses a rock organ program, I lose the ability to kick on the leslie effect with the joystick. But for the preset combis that use rock organ, the effect always works fine.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks tons in advance!

"... I do know that you can get an EXB-M256 expansion memory board for about $300 ...For what it's worth, my advice is to for a good deal, check out the seller, make sure the gear is in good condition and GO FOR IT. Be sure to ask the seller any questions you have about the gear. You won't be sorry ...

Terry, I'm pretty new to the M3, and I was in the same boat. I wanted a used board and was fortunate enough to win an e-bay auction on a 73-key M3 for $1,450. I considered that an absolute steal. My board was not equipped with the Expanded OS, so I did that right away. It wasn't a difficult process ...
