Thanks for the reply HardSync OK, so I don't know what the problem is. It's possible that a connector inside the keybed is disconnected, possibly from transporting the board, or something else has gone wrong with the keybed pcbs. It's weird though that the pads on the module itself don't work at all ...

M3Xpanded pads and keyboard not working woes

Hi everyone, Hoping someone can help out with a rather niggling problem. I bought a 2nd hand M3Xpanded73 on behalf of a friend of mine since he already had a Radias Module. When I tested the keyboard, the keyboard was working as were the pads. However the seller said that the digital 9pin cable that ...

Re: Radias module and M3 module installed on 61 key keyboard

From memory this was only possible with the 73 and 88 keybed frames, using the Korg MA-T and MA-L attachments to hold the Radias module. Apart from sharing a keyboard the Radias and M3 work as individual synths. Thanks Slug. Hmm ... that does create some problems now. This is of course presuming ...

Radias module and M3 module installed on 61 key keyboard

Hi everyone, I'm asking for a friend of mine who is wanting to buy an M3 Expanded 61 and has also sourced a Radias module. Has anyone tried to install both modules on the same 61 keys keyboard? What do I need to be careful about. The Keyboard Assembly Owner's Manual from KORG does not specify how to ...

Hi Pete, how do you get drum mapping to work in real time in the Pa4X ... with the i3 you could just hit one of the 8 buttons and it would do it for you in arrangement mode - it seems abit more convoluted in the Pa4X - and can you edit these or insert these in BSEQ mode after the fact (after ...

Re: Pa4x 61 vs i3

Someone think it is simple to make ones best judgment about ones needs, you pay some penny and you take a choice without a need to stomach ache after the fact. I think consequently someone else has no motivation to acquire a successor model if Korg do not add back important features continuously ...

User Manual

Hi all, Does any one have a link to the actual full manual. All i'm getting through the links is the quick start manual. I'm seriously considering the Pa4X after many years with an i3 and don't want to buy and then regret it because features i want aren't in the 'new' version especially in relation ...

Pa4x 61 vs i3

Many years ago I bought an i3 '94 in fact. I sold it in 2004. I'm once again looking for an arranger and thought I'd check the pa4x out. A lot of the features I liked in the i3 no longer exist. Individual mutes for each accompanying track instead of the groups Drum map (vital) buttons The ability to ...

Hi There. I have an original padKontrol and can confirm that the latest drivers do not work with the unit on my x79 Win 7 Pro 32 or 64 bit OS. It also does not work with Sonar X1d 32 or 64 bit which does not recognize the drivers/device. Neither does Reaper and no the unit is not on a USB Hub and ...

Realistic gtr tracks are possible ... a person can actually do some amazing midi programming over 3 -4 tracks using things like fret noises and pitch and mod programming that can come close to approximating the real thing. Using a sequencer like Logic and its strong midi programming ability can ...

Not true. That's not how it worked. I've been developing KARMA 3.0 for the last few years myself. I will make money from the sale of the software. Yamaha has no exclusivity at this time. Hi Stephen ... will it run like Karma Triton MW? And if so then can we expect the ver3 s/w to be able to run ...

Caution though ... make sure that the Korg's global channel is 1 and that all sounds that you want to play using the TR has channel 1. All sounds that you want the other keyboard to play should be set to a different channel such as 2 and make sure that you change the midi transmit channel of the ...
