Saw some info to use Deoxit, which I happen to have a can of That is most likely a wiser choice. The Deoxit D5 worked great in terms of fixing inconsistent button press contact! Works 100% now on a few of my buttons that weren’t always making contact. HOWEVER, be real careful in spraying d ...

Okay, this is not public and you don't have to do it this way... WD-40 on my buttons Obviously, I've edited the video for time. It will probably take a good number of presses for the button to smooth out. Umm...WD-40? I was also thinking of this, but read where it maybe shouldn't be used for ...

1-29-16: Thanks again, Mike for the suggestion. Had never really fooled in that area very much, so I learned a few things. I did try it from your original suggestion, but it didn’t give exactly what I was looking for. Will try your new comment and see now. I was going to reply with the following b ...

Thanks, Mike. I can do that for "live" performance, but was looking to record the patch change into a song/sequence via midi. I have some ideas I'm trying, so will see what might work. Just thought there might be a simple trick here that I'm over-looking. Thanks again for reply.

Midi Patch Change

<t>Basic question that I should know, but…<br/> <br/> Using Oasys with 2 other keyboards (Karma, JD800) to layer or stack sounds on midi channel 1 of sequencer. During the song, I want to change the patch on just the Karma, for example. How would I do this? I think I should not have all 3 boards set ...

Loading Oasys Songs & Combis into Kronos-2

I read where this is possible? I have an Oasys and thinking of replacing it with new Kronos-2, but don't want to loose all my Oasys songs or Combis that I've created over the years. Is it easy to just load my Oasys songs, programs & combis into the kronos without a lot of trouble? Most of my songs ...

Midi Program Change Controller?

I've searched & searched but can't seem to find an inexpensive piece of hardware that will do the following. I know most DAWs will do this and even keyboards, but I want a small, separate hardware unit. I used to have something called an Oberheim Systemizer that would do this, but sold it. "Set up a ...

Yoa, Thx for your input. I was wondering if the Sonar plug-in approach might be better. Will try that just to see. Also was thinking I could sell the two P-4's and put that towards an i5 or maybe i7. Prices are pretty good on desktops right now. Hadn't thought about breaking out parts, so might ...

Computer Requirements For Virtual Synths

There's probably something listed here on forums, but couldn't find anything recent. I'm struggling with computer hardware needed to run some of the newer virtual or soft synth software now available. Seems like the new software exceeds most of the older computer hardware. Have two older Dell ...

Gregory...love your style & music. Really like "Tank Man". Did you create it on the Oasys? Any chance you would sell this as a MIDI song for the "O"? Great job!
