I've searched & searched but can't seem to find an inexpensive piece of hardware that will do the following. I know most DAWs will do this and even keyboards, but I want a small, separate hardware unit. I used to have something called an Oberheim Systemizer that would do this, but sold it.
"Set up a Midi performance so that when I depress a given patch number, it will select different patches or programs to 10+ different Midi instruments".
I've found the Behringer BCN-44 for $50 (new), but I don't think this will do what I'm trying.
Anybody know of any device out there (even vintage)? OK...even software that will do this would be nice.
Thanks for any comments!

DX7 used to be able to do it on a one patch level.
I think there was a Yamaha device that did it on a larger scale. The function is called "Patch Mapping" and that was (duh!) the name of the device - Patch Mapper - a one unit rack device with one (presumed multi-channel) MIDI-IN and either 4 or 8 (I can't recall which) MIDI-Outs that could hold a mapped location (patch number).
This was, however, very early in MIDI development so I don't think there was much of anything in the way of memory as far as remembering a current bank's worth of patches (127) vs DX7's Ax32/Bx32, or even sending bank location.
Any that you might find would be some 30 or so years old.
