Re: Sound cutting out suddenly with no warning

I've had my SV1 for less than a year, and last night on a gig the sound quit completely in the middle of a song. All the lights remained on. I checked the patch cables, etc. and when all looked solid, I switched the power off and on again. This restored the sound and I had no more problems the ...

Does your expression pedal behave normally otherwise? No weird jumps in volume? How about if you jiggle the plug gently? I had a similar situation on my Triton Extreme where the volume would jump and be generally unpredictable. Thought it was the pedal, turned out to be the internal solder ...

Could I just get some confirmation on the expression pedal strangeness? I just want to make sure that no one else is experiencing what I experienced with the expression pedal. I've now tried a Roland EXP-1 and the official Korg XVP-10 expression pedal with the same results--plugged in, the SV-1 does ...

I'm still trying to think about this... During my gigs over the weekend, I didn't even have the expression pedal plugged in! I just remembered now, because I had a Nord Electro 2 I was using as my organ, so the expression pedal was plugged into that. I don't get how this makes any sense... Maybe I ...

I remember this happening at a gig. I turned it off and on and the sound was back. Later I repeated the error at home by accident. The cable for my expression pedal wasn’t plugged in all the way. I think it was sending a “volume off” signal or something. When I shoved it all the way in everything wa ...

Mine just did that in a set over the weekend on Saturday. Then Sunday morning it even decided not to boot for a while. I am running 1.2!

Sigh. Sorry, I guess I look like a fool now.

It started working inexplicably on its own. Nevermind, I guess! Thanks.

I did, and I even searched the PDF for "expression" or "wah" but nothing in there came up with an actual procedure for assigning pedal 2 to the wah function. By default it controls the volume/swell. There is no function table in the pdf. I wouldn't come here asking before I checked the obvious :)

Function table

Hey all, Just picked up a brand new SV-1 73, and for the life of me I can not find out how to assign the expression pedal to the wah instead of volume. Is there a table of functions that the function button has access to anywhere? Also, does the wah/volume assignment get saved by favorites or is it ...
