Will Gadget be tailored to run on the iPhone 6 Plus sometime?
Seems with the iPad resemblance while in landscape mode that it could possibly do the job of running Gadget.

Quanitze
Update- the bug seems to go away when quantize is OFF in the tempo settings page.
Still, the apps should still be have as expected when quantize is ON.

It is microphonic
Thanks I'll check the tape out! By the way I don't know why everyone is saying the mini is not microphonic. It is. If you clip the clip onto an acoustic guitar you can hear through the headphones the melody you are playing- on the patches that use the microphonic DSP which not all do. So scratching ...

coating wave drum mini pad
has anyone considered coating the WD mini pad? I have thought about gluing fibreskyn (for the texture not sound), fabric or a textured coated surface (like a coated snare drum) for more expressiveness with sweeps of the fingers (like brushes against a coated snare head). Ideas, experiences ...

So it seems...
Yes, so it seems! I can't believe how hard it is to go back to my v-drums after playing with the wavedrum. I was hinting at Korg putting out a (Roland) V-drums killer though with an all-in-one out of the box solution. That will be killer! All they would have to do is put out a wavedrum kit, with ...

Wavedrumset
After playing with the Wavedrum I can't help but fantasize about the creation of a full drumset, with wavecymbals and everything. Would put any traditional drum trigger/VST combo to shame including all the coveted V-drums.

Update!!!!
Update: There is some sort of analogue goodness going on bc when I attach the clip to my guitar headstock with sound #37 and other percussion I actually hear the guitar coming through the speakers and on loop playback too- the actual tones of the strings and sometimes the string noise too. If I ...

Record bug in iKaossilator- can anyone replicate?
I have a 3GS with ios5. Can anyone with this setup please confirm this bug: Launch ikaossilator on your iPhone 3GS running iOS5 Go into record mode with a long loop length and a cleared part on solo. So all you hear is the part being recorded over say four bars 64/16. Tap the screen for short notes ...

Oh that's not good news
I thought there was some DSP going on in the mini since the manual mentions in the troubleshooting section that different units could sound different and compares the mini somewhat to an acoustic instrument- which will vary unit to unit. I guess they were referring to different pickup of stoke tones ...

why not just...
instead of finding a way to connect the kick pedal trigger, why not just clip the clip sensor to a part of the pedal that is out of the beater's way. The vibrations sent through the pedal should be enough to trigger the mini, no?

Really?
I find it a very inspiring instrument. I can see how for the drum kit settings in which different strikes bring out different instruments (eg hi hat bass and snare) could be problematic because it's hard to be precise sometimes but it appears to be a skill that can be gained with enough time spent ...

Trick with Wavedrum Mini - layered sounds!!!
OK- this is too cool... Plug a regular set of *earbud* style headphones into the wavedrum mini's clip sensor input. E.g. the kind that come with iPods. Then strike the wavedrum mini's built-in pad with the left and right earbuds, using them as mallets. Every time the left ear bud strikes the pad ...
