can you just run the signal from ableton to the kp3 by an rca-1/8" cable, monitor thru kp3 headphones, run the Kp3 back to ableton via another rca-1/8" cable and hit record in ableton?

it can prob be done in some way, just maybe not exactly how you want it

Yet another delightful KP3 gremlin to be worked around... Offhand I'd suggest getting your pair of loops ready together and saving them with two empty banks as a .kp3 file in the editor. Then simply load 'All' on the unit. Not ideal, but still better than a kick in the bollocks like.

I seem to remember having some trouble myself, but not quite what you described. The support from Korg isn't what it should be and updates are long overdue to address the many shortcomings of what could be the dream unit... For your situation all I can recommend is scouring the threads here to see ...

Well the one thing the lads kinda skipped over is the kaossilator pro can be pre-set to a particular key or scale, so once that's done (only takes a second) you'll find it's very easy to jam along with guitars and bass ...
