If you don't set any pad on page 3 for example and you set the light to off in the matrix in the global.

Problem with changing sounds for Upper 2, 3 and Lower using the "Search" function in the "Keys" screen. (Works only for Upper 1).
The portamento also must be changed, or must added an option to works like Triton, M3, Kronos.

I just want the same portamento as the Kronos.

I don't know what kind of music you play and how much you use portamento, but for Middle Eastern and Balkan music it's very important, so I know what I'm saying. Read more on the forum and you'll see how many people are dissatisfied. And for a long time.

Honestly, I don't believe Korg is capable of solving this problem. And they don't seem willing to either!

I have the impression that portamento is also related to ”release”, which cannot truly be reduced to 0.

I would expect great portamento in Kronos, with its variety of sound engines. But what about their strictly sample-based workstations, i.e. Kross and Krome? Is the problem really specific to PA series? Or does it occur in any Korg that uses only sample based synthesis? i.e. is it a limitation of PA ...

Yes. I have Juzisound 2 and portamento is great. I also have a Kronos and portamento is great. I don't understand why in PA series, "time portamento" is so bad!
