'pitch stretch' in 'tone adjust'.

Never really understood what this did, until yesterday. I was trying to slow the 'LFO' on a Montage string patch, but found it was vibrato fixed within the samples. I got a workaround by setting a -5 on the pichbend, applying it, then transposing back to pitch, which effectively clocked out the ...

Just revisited this. I actually lost this patch soon after finding it, through an overwrite, but I knew I'd left the method here. I hadn't included the earlier part of P50 of the Parameter Guide which covers the AMS mode should be set to 'Gate' (the last of the options). One of the shortcomings of ...

Re: User knobs for volume

The tweak can also be used to x-fade btween 2 sounds, as in the combi A027. Not really a x-fade, more a fade to zero at the centre point then a fade from zero for the 2nd sound. Can you please teach me how to create sound that can be switch with knob or exp pedal? thanks before if you have literall ...

IIRC you can audition the sounds directly from the SD card and only copy over the sounds you want to where you want them, then save to a new file on an SD card for future use. Just keep using 'open' in 'media' rather than 'load' until you get to the 'prog' or 'combi' lists of the PCG files, then tap ...

Arp editing

Just playing with the arps today. Found an arp I liked and wanted to edit. Needed to switch to 'Global' to do that. Found I needed to be in a 'User' location before copying an INT arp, as there's no 'from-to'. Once I'd got the arp copied and edited, I duplicated it in adacent USER locations and re ...

If you turn quantize off (flux on) and tempo low you can input many more than 16 notes per sequence, but the input timing is now manual.

I get a loud click at switch on/off. It's not good. I know it's a budget product but most other budget kit can do a soft switch on/of now! Why not this?

You may need a midi splitter if the Volcas don't do midi clock and voltage clock at the same time.

I'd like an option to mute a note/beat but leave a 'rest' to keep the original sequence length unaltered. The Volca Keys way is unlike the other sequencer live-beat-muters I've used before.

Mine's ok with the 10sec. I think it needs 10s always after first switch on.

Opening the Triton PCG file until accessing the individual patches and then saving them in the F bank works GREAT! I wasn't aware that getting to that "layer" could be done. Thanks so much for sharing. Jim G Me too! It's actually mentioned in the manual, but i found it by accident. It can act like ...

If you keep opening up the PCG file til you get to the patches themselves, you can select and audition them from the SD card and only load the ones you prefer to specific empty bank F slots.
