OK, so I take it 'reset to factory settings' without using the CD means using the preload files? I actually have it automatically load the preload.ksc anyway, but now I loaded the preload.sng, and got it to pull in all associated files and clear ram and exi. It did indeed revert my global settings ...

Interesting, thank you, I'll try that, if I can find somebody with a USB CD drive I can borrow.

My system was already at 1.6 before I sent it, and I got them to upgrade to 3GB while they were at it.

I was experimenting with other curves yesterday, and I can get almost a full range with curve 6. At least it goes up to about 124/125. This is not as it was originally, where all the curves were pretty much usable, but 4 was the best. This keybed seems particularly stiff and insensitive.
