As an old electrics engineer I would like to throw my 2 cents in on this. People have a very hard time making the difference between static and "real" electricity. Static electricity build up is rarely due to bad grounding (even though it can be a sign of that). In fact, grounding could ...

Theoretically what you suggest could (partly) be done using midi programming. That is, you can program a midi file with basic accompinement and program changes. However, as stated above, intros, fills and endings are an important part of the arranger keyboard/workstation basic functionality which ...

This exactly happened to me. (Yellow line though). At first it was one. Then there was two. It was a hardware fault. Screen replaced. Me lived without Kronos for three weeks. Very sad. Mine is back now though, good as new. So there's a happy ending in sight for you aswell! http://www.korgforums.com ...

This could be a ground loop issue. And it could very well also be the reason for your Kronos dying on you. I would suggest that you connect your keyboard and your PA to the same outlet to avoid ground loops occuring. However, a simple ground loop does not kill your keyboard. BUT a loose Neutral ...

Okay, final update. The day before yesterday, I finally got my Kronos back. The screen had been replaced and my babe is as good as new. It took three full weeks to have it back, which to me is more than I can bare. I really do hope I never have to send it in again. Which brings me to a final note ...

I have a DP-8 too. It's a half-damper, so you need to calibrate it (also in global menu) for it to work properly.

So I called the shop yesterday, exactly two weeks since I dropped my Kronos off at the shop. They contacted the service company and came back to me. They told me the service company had a new display in store for my Kronos. But the small rubber thingies that are used to attach the display to the ...

The manual is great. Well written, and fairly well-organized. I have written a few manuals a few years back, using Adobe Framemaker, and although such a software helps organize cross-references etc. it's a lot of work producing something as good as this. Still, what this and most other manuals lack ...

Perhaps if you post the patch someone might be able to find you a cure. There's some pretty clever people in here, but they need somethin' to work with. 8)

Now you're gonna have to get yourself a Moog midi bar... :D

There's really no instrument like a real piano. No matter how fine electronic instruments get, they miss something from the "real" thing. Not only sound, but feeling also. Oh nostalgy.

That was truly great! Twister is one of my favourite movies (I just loooove those disaster movies). And that theme is really great.

I'm pretty new to sequencing, it would be great if you could share how your workflow is when you take on a tune like this.

Thanks for sharing your great work.
