This could be a ground loop issue. And it could very well also be the reason for your Kronos dying on you. I would suggest that you connect your keyboard and your PA to the same outlet to avoid ground loops occuring. However, a simple ground loop does not kill your keyboard. BUT a loose Neutral ...

I have a DP-8 too. It's a half-damper, so you need to calibrate it (also in global menu) for it to work properly.

I have written a few manuals a few years back, using Adobe Framemaker, and although such a software helps organize cross-references etc. it's a lot of work producing something as good as this. There's really no instrument like a real piano. No matter how fine electronic instruments get, they miss something from the "real" thing. Not only sound, but feeling also. Oh nostalgy.
