Accurately Changing Tempo on the Fly
The Tempo knob on the Krome is almost worthless! It is so course and wide ranging that it is nearly impossible to set a tempo within 10 bpm of the desired value. When you try to correct it with the shuttle wheel on the Dec/Inc buttons, they are way too granular. I've not been able to find anything ...

Importing Other Drum Track Patterns into Krome User Area
Is it possible to import drum track patterns from other Korg platforms (or other manufacturers if possible) directly into the User Drum Pattern Area. I'm disappointed with the pattern selections provided on the Krome, in that they are very specialized and there are very few basic patterns (such as a ...

Setting MIDI Program Change in Combi Mode
Had the Krome 88 for over a week now, and making good progress. Couple of questions: Can you assign a MIDI Program Change in Combi Mode for each User Combi you create? Can you load Standard Midi Files into the User Drum area? These seem like basic issues, but I've not found much in the manuals ...

Thanks for the response. To clarify, I'm using an external midi device (Roland 1080) which I have used with past keyboards connected through volume control pedals to add in background voices. The problem is that I only want the background voices over the range of the main voice (piano), yet I am ...

Changing Octaves in Combi Mode
I just was able to accomplish that as you described, so now I have a template for all my future Combis. Thank you very much! I am working my way through a lot of issues. I use MIDI to a tone generator that has very nice strings, vocal doos, organ backgrounds, etc. I want use this, as I've set up two ...

Changing octaves in Combi mode
Sounds like a simple question, but I scoured through the literature and couldn't find an answer. Combi mode A003 has a piano and bass combination that is split at middle C and should be moved down en masse by a full octave. Any ideas how this can be done in one operation?
