I can understand some of what you are saying. I own a Kronos X 88 and use mostly the pianos. I think they are very good. Not the best, but certainly miles ahead of the Triton days. I also wish the build quality would have been better. Take a look at the composition of the Triton and Triton Studio ...

Firstly I appreciate you all to sharing your thoughts. I will try to answer your questions as better as I can. The build quality problem. Woof. Having been astounded that almost no one have complaints about build quality. Imho, it could be better, maybe not as sturdy as a CP1. It is not about one ...

Even MOX6 has better guitar sounds (especially nylon guitar) than Kronos. IMHO, you may achieve great electric guitar sounds in Kronos. I recently play Clapton's Layla and it sounded perfect (Kronos onboard guitar amps are impressing). Just needs little tweaking, and perhaps some playing technique ...

Considering selling Kronos and buying a stage piano instead
Hi folks, at these days I've been thinking about selling my pretty Kronos X73 and buying a digital piano instead, like the new-coming Kawai MP11. The reason underneath I'm considering that is, I think Kronos is not sturdy enough compared its cost. I bought it on June 2013 and now the F4 key is ...

Jazz Composition "I Ain't Give Single Funk"
It is my first song with my pretty Kronos. All sounds I have used are from Kronos. Nothing changed, except some OSC modes. Used KARMA for its bass slapping part and drum track for drum grooves. I know I did so many mistakes, especially at mixing and mastering. Since I don't know how to compress ...

Omg, you cannot estimate how much you helped me. This Yamaha selection solution is definitely true. I used to have only audio driver way of my X73. Nothing was working with MIDI driver, including Kronos Editor. Also, I really cannot understand while Kronos is so powerful, it has a useless editor ...

Well, it's completely related with your budget. For low range, PC3LE8 or Studiologic Numa can be appropriate choice. But if you want more realistic touch, check for the Kawai MP10 and MP6. Most probably these keyboards will satisfy your needs. At top, Yamaha's CP1 should be. If you can afford at ...

from memory, the m1 organ is a sampled bx3 organ sound with the percussion way up. (forgive me, i can't remember what drawbar settings) but one of the problems would be the percussion. on the M1, (and the sample used to make the program you're talking about) the percussion is sampled on every note ...
