Everything was working - plugins as well as standalone until I tried to upgrade to the non-dongle version. I wasted another couple of hours on this tonight ... trying tech support now.

I have the same problem and the same software / controller bundle running on MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard. I also have the Digital Edition which I upgraded and it runs fine without the dongle. Analog Edition synths work stand-alone but plugins do not launch in Abelton Live. I tried uninstalling ...
