I've noticed that the black keys are slightly wider than the norm... so I suspect it's the same AT keybed as the Hydrasynth Keyboard/Deluxe. The same keybed is also used on the Summit but only with Channel AT. Really nice to play. Yes, it was announced that they licensed the key action from ASM ...

You don't seriously believe that response was real, do you? Funny in a dark-humored mood for sure, but it's not real.

Re: SV-2 SoundPacks with SV-1 sounds

Ciao my friend: Thanks for the kind words. But I was talking about "AB" who did the painstaking work to convert the Soundpacks to the SV2. He told me much had to be done by hand, parameter by parameter, critically listening with both instruments side-by-side. But the SV-1 was a wonderful project ...

Hi Jerome: Well, I separated from Korg in 2011, so I have nothing to do with any new products since the Kronos (although I did the V2 CX3 artist presets for Korg, as I had worked with artists on the reissue CX3 sound back in the day). But I didn't work on the SV-2 and don't have one, so I can't ...

Re: SV-2 SoundPacks with SV-1 sounds

Ciao Paolo!! I'm so glad to see this work got done. We both know who put in the long hours to achieve this - so glad to see the customers supported in this way. Jerry Hi All, Everybody who has projects made with the sounds of our venerable SV-1, please check our (free) SoundPacks of the Reloaded ...

Hi Jerome: that's my name as well! I can answer this, as I was part of the development/voicing team for the SV-1. There were no new samples added when creating/releasing the sound packs. But there were a variety of waveforms that didn't get used in the original voicing. Nothing as significant as a ...

You should explore Tone Adjust and how it uses the knobs and sliders for control over sounds. It's a pretty good way to allow the control surface to be customized to work with the various engines, and best of all, YOU get to decide how it's all set up.

Of course... think about two very high-level artists who use the Kronos (did use the Oasys). I brought Herbie into the Korg fold during my years there. Herbie can get, and does get offers to use gear from every company on the planet. The fact that he sticks with the Kronos is because it works well ...

Ahhh yes, I see and of course you're right. There are very few artists that get this type of support (at least from Korg)... it's a win/win for both involved. Jerry That is why I don't get Korg isn't interested in developing more for the Kronos when they have such dedicated well known users as eg ...

That is why I don't get Korg isn't interested in developing more for the Kronos when they have such dedicated well known users as eg. Jordan Rudess that still after over 2 decades still use the same Korg hardware as his main setup. I know he is propably also getting payed for it, but anyway. I can ...

Hi Greg: I wish you luck with this, there are certainly things I would like to see, including more memory locations. But, the last recorded estimate of # of Kronos sold (last updated in 2019) was over 44k. Do you really think that a sampling of 59 people is going to affect anything? I think it's ...
