Has anyone tried using a yamaha p-115 as a midi controller for a Kronos through usb?

I’m looking for an affordable 88 key keyboard that can both be used as a controller for my Kronos 61 but that can also be used as a basic stage piano...

So it seems to me like the problem somehow is in the Kronos... Have you tried Kronos USB-Audio with your (Mac/Win) computer? I have yes, with my iMac. I can't use the usb audio with it, after a couple of seconds, or half a minute if I'm lucky, it distorts like crazy. The usb midi works fine, though ...

Yeah, the german grand. The lid is almost shut and I turned down the damper noise and key off sound (if that's what it's called) quite a bit. Otherwise the mechanical noises would've been almost as loud as the most quietest notes.
