Solo piano piece (jazz)

Post by Septembermusic »

Hi!

I've been browsing this forum for a while now getting all sorts of useful information and I thought it's about time I contribute with something myself.
So here's a solo piano piece I wrote and recorded yesterday using my kronos and Garageband.

Feel free to give constructive criticism about my playing and/or the mix (spent only a few minutes adding some reverb, compression and eq in garageband).

I Don't have the skills to embed it so a link must do. I guess you can call it some kind of scandinavian jazz with a little bit of finnish melancholy and a hint of "it's gonna be okay".

Hope you like it.

I like it too, well done. What piano did you use, the stock German grand?

Thanks!
Yeah, the german grand. The lid is almost shut and I turned down the damper noise and key off sound (if that's what it's called) quite a bit. Otherwise the mechanical noises would've been almost as loud as the most quietest notes.
