I like your thinking, but just had a look at the VST, but I can't see a way to actually save a patch to a file - am I missing something?

Load Triton Extreme patches into VST version?

Sorry if this has already been answered when the original Triton VST came out, but is it at all possible to load patches, either Programs or Combis, from the hardware Extreme into the new Triton Extreme VST?

I've got a feeling the answer is no... :-(

Still use mine, or rather my teenage son does for piano practice more than me, but I occasionally happily spend a few hours tinkling away on it and I always find the amazing sounds highly inspiring. The main reason I don't use mine as much now is because there's something badly wrong with in that it ...

Hard Case For OASYS 88 / UK Repairers

Hi I need to transport my poorly O88 for repair here in the UK and was wondering please could anyone recommend a suitable hard case that won’t break the bank but still give my big baby adequate protection. Also does anyone have any experience of UK repairers including Korg UK themselves please? I’m b ...

Re: OS Reinstallation Woes

Do I need to start with v1.1.0 disks or earlier? I believe I put my four 1.0 version discs in, then upgraded to 1.1, then upgraded that to 1.3. Thanks for the reply, Mike - I got it up and running using the 1.3.1 disk set found on the Korg website... ...still have the inoperative pads / random MIDI ...

OS Reinstallation Woes

Sorry if this is a FAQ but I haven't seen anything quite like it. I'm trying to reinstall the OS on my O88 as I'm having major issues with no MIDI output and pads not working, so want to be sure it's not a software issue before I have to deal with shipping it off for physical repair. I booted from ...

Random Pad Madness / MIDI loss - is my O88 possessed?

Hi Bit of a longshot this, but wondering if anyone's come across it? My O88 has become pretty much useless for recording, as after about 10-15 minutes from power up, when everything works fine, including the pads, there is suddenly a flurry of random notes as if the pads are being played, but then ...

Hi Stephen

Thanks very much for the reply - I'll give that a go first recalibrating the pads.

I've changed the CMOS battery in my O so been brave enough once already to open her up, so I'll see what I find.

Thanks again,

Popping key / Silent or sticking pads?

Hi all I have a couple of problems with my O 88 as it's growing older. An F key up the treble end keeps popping up at the back and not triggering as a result, but a simple press down at the back of the key puts it back in place. Two of the pads below the screen no longer trigger, and another seems ...
