I am having trouble setting this up. I just have 5 pin DIN MIDI plugged into the Keys coming from my M-Audio Keystation 61. USB is powering the keyboard. I can't get any notes to play.

Does the Volca Keys track much better with an external keyboard? I love it, but it is impossible for me to play on that tiny ribbon keyboard. Every chord gets choked out because I accidentally play two notes with one finger.

I want to make it so that every time that my Volcas power on, the memory banks are blank. I can't figure out how to do this. I tried just clearing the bank and saving, that didn't work. Any ideas?

This is really good stuff! You make the Volcas sound very dynamic. I myself have the issue of forgetting to take dynamics into account. I have the M-Audio Mini 32. It is a USB MIDI controller that is USB only. I also have a DIGI 003 with MIDI IN/OUT. Is is possible to control the Volcas with this USB keyboard via the connectivity that I have available? I wish the Mini 32 had MIDI out, but I guess that they had to cut that out to ...

Good idea, man! I might try this out for myself. I have been thinking about viable options for a stand. I can't stand staring straight down like that for long.

The snare isn't that bad if you just do a tiny bit of EQ. I most definitely see the pros of modding these. I just think that it's not worth it with the stability that I've seen in the products so far. For something that could fail at any moment, I think it's best to not void the warranty.
