ifnally, some light at the end of the tunnel.
i am ready to take my korg apart, again,(sigh)
i do have all the necessary equipment though.

I'm sorry to hear that. Seems like Korg buys cheap pans for their equipment lines. I recently took a plunge and purchased a Korg Zero4; I am actually returning it tonight after work (thank god for the try before you buy clause where i purchase my gear. I will probably never buy Korg products again ...

yep, i always thought this forum was sub-par.
i have a padkontrol and use stray's native kontrol trigger.
what can i help you out with?

and did you load the korg driver utility?
i had to plug mine up to the power cable.

IMO the cd was crap.
installed, and then uninstalled.
go with ableton or reason!
if you kept all your other literature you should have gotten a code for both products that gives you a helluva discount.
i think you get a couple hundred off on both.
basically, the padkontrol pays for itself.

1 you would either use usb or midi to connect. 2 most the software is dem or lite version (watered down) 3 Check out ableton as your DAW, it can do everything and more. there are alot of other software suites that can do alot of the things you want. you will just have to do a bit of research on how ...
