New EMX has nothing to offer current owners ... I've been looking for a new drum machine/groove box ... Passed on a machinedrum trade for my Juno-60 (never liked the sound of that Elektron box) ... Wanted an LDII but just gave up waiting ... After getting over my hardware-only mania, I've decided on ...

Does KP3 MIDI OUT behave like MIDI THRU ... ???

I need my KP3 to continue the MIDI tempo (bpm) chain ...

Is this possible or is the KP3 the end of the line when it comes to MIDI bpm data ... ???

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like it does ...

Please tell me I'm overlooking something ...

http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/6576/juno60setupbbabv7.jpg I always run my EMX and ESX into my KP3s ... seems to work better that way for me ... Also, if your KP3 is causing program changes on your beat thang, make sure those MIDI filters are enabled/disabled on KP3 and your 'Tribe ... It's ...

I guess the workaround is to save patterns in a SONG ... you can record mutes and solos there, apparently, I was reading in the manual last night ...

I've actually never used SONG mode yet ...

I've also noticed on ER-1 soloed parts get unsoloed when pressing stop and play ... not so on EMX/ESX ... That said, the ER-1 is still a great little VA drum machine ... Perfect to jam to ... I just wish the EMX had more synth parts because if you program drums on the synth parts your probably going ...

Didn't get the 808 ... but I did grab an ER-1 ... Glad I did ... great sound and dif. from ESX/EMX ... Can't go wrong for $75 ... Too bad it's missing input level knob and delay is global (duh!) and can't even be turned off per part ... mutes can't be saved ... but the rest is great ... Def. prefer ...

As a non-M3 owner, I must say it's very tempting now, having addressed (probably) my biggest gripe with the M3: its horrid pianos ... Korg has done a terrific job with this update ... Now I just have to get past one more thing ... the look of the M3 ... and for some reason, I have a feeling Korg ...

My advice, unless money's really tight, is just pick up whatever used Electribes you can ... They are all terrific in their own way, and since they're always in demand, if you don't like it for some reason, it should be easy enough to unload it ... I have an EMX and ESX and I'm actually starting to ...

Since the seller hasn't mentioned any extras, I'd assume it comes with the standard amount ... This is what the seller had to say about it why he's not bonding with the MC-808 ... "Easy: the workflow. I have an EMX-1, and despite it not having nearly the spec of the MC, I can sit down with it and ...
