Thanks, Pecca...100 questions answered...
A million questions to go! Your answer was helpful, but I had to go through a few days of trying to really understand all of this. Now that I've got it, it seems so simple. The good news is that I'm learning how to work with Motu and Cubase and actually making some music. Now all I have to learn is ...

Midi to audio
Korg Trinity Pro/Motu838mk3/Cubase SE I'm trying to convert midi track to audio. 2 lines from the output 1&2 from Korg to analog 1 & 2 in Motu. I'm trying to figure out setups and where to go from there. I know I'm SUCH a newbie...but I'd appreciate any help anybody can give me. I'm trying to get a ...

Good enough speed and space on my computer?
I'm learning this stuff slowly, but I need advice. Interested in mixing but I need to know if the computer I have will be adequate. It has AMD Athlon 64 X 2 dual core processor, 5600 + (does that 5600 mean rpm?) 280 GHz, 200 GB RAM. I plan to save for MOTU 828 and I'm working with Cubase SE and a ...

I figured out how to move that track from Cubase to trinity.
Just utilized that midi out cable! I sat here staring at it for about 5 minutes...Daz, wasn't that you who mentioned that this stuff would melt your brain in the beginning? You are so right. My problem is that I need more equipment, more money and more time...I'm sure nobody else has that problem ...

HI all
I haven't been here for a while, but will probably haunt this site frequently now! I have a degree in music and teach piano and voice. Working on my music as well and dream of building a tiny studio...that will be an uphill battle, as I have dinosaur equipment. Anyway, hello from Northern Illinois ...

Equipment suggestions
This is the first of many questions...it's been months since I've been here, but I'm happy to be getting back to my music. This is the equipment I have: Korg Trinity Pro/HDR Computer with 175 GB of space on hard drive Sound Blaster XFI (made for gamers, I think) Cubase SE 2 GB Jaz Drive Microphone ...

Recording using Jaz drive
Turn on Jaz drive Turn on Korg and go to the disk option. Go to Audio Utility Select "Mount Mode" in menu Select "Removable only" Record your tracks, then go back to disk. Make sure the mount mode is still "removable only". Save your work. It's been a long time since I've done this, so I hope the ...
