Midi to audio

Post by fitless »

Korg Trinity Pro/Motu838mk3/Cubase SE

I'm trying to convert midi track to audio. 2 lines from the output 1&2 from Korg to analog 1 & 2 in Motu. I'm trying to figure out setups and where to go from there.

I know I'm SUCH a newbie...but I'd appreciate any help anybody can give me. I'm trying to get a good understanding of the logic of this process and it still eludes me.

I just don't get how I can "record" that mid track and create an audio track.

Please help...rapidly going nuts here! Thanks!

Arm an Audio track for recording in cubase. (this track has to be assigned to your motu in the audio preferences...)
Play/record the miditrack assigned to your synth.

Now you should have an audio track with the synth sounds recorded...

Ps. I don´t work in cubase, but i hope the terminologi is somewhat accurate.
