Okay so my PadKontrol is working with Ableton Live 6, but not in Reason. Not through Live, nor on its own. oh wow, that's really awesome. I know you wrote it and it's your "program" or whatever, but any chance of sending me the file you made with VB to use that? and how to set it up? i know that's asking a lot, but just curious! because from there i can see what you did and how, and learn on my own.

Okay so i've read stuff on it, and have seen the PDF with colors and stuff like F9 fS SI 23 21 (not those numbers, but like stuff listed like that...if you've seen that pdf you should know what i'm talking about) but i have not found what Native Mode actually IS or DOES nor how to use those numbers ...

i just mentioned the midi in/out because i don't really get what that would do.

If i got one of those keyboards, and put the PK as "midi IN" to it, what would it do?? (or what could it do)

I don't know how to explain it. It's like if I take off the combinator, It goes silent even when I try to go back to combinator. I have to reload rEASON FOR IT TO WORK AGAIN. If I go straight into reason, the combinator will work. But if I turn of combinator and go to redrum, I get nothing. It ...

haha i guess it's not obvious because it's called "aftertouch" so i figured the effects would work after you hit it.

okay i did that, and it'll bend when i hold down the note, but when i release my finger from the pad, and the sound is reverberating, it's not doing any "after touch" kinda sounds, like bending...

With the PadKontrol??

Hrm, okay i opened Ableton, went to midi, set to PadKontrol, and loaded something from BrainTease from Impulse's Electronic part. i move the program thing around and nothing happens...nothing seems to be happening with any of these...what am i doing wrong? I even have Vanguard and doing the program ...

I can't seem to find ANY documentation anywhere about what the program changing does on the pad kontrol.

This might have to do with just how MIDI controllers work in general, but i'm clueless.

You can change the program by holding the PROG CHANGE button.
