Hi Al Ever since the intoduction of the Pa1x the default setting for the Drum, ACC, and Bass sliders were Global. ie the settings of the three sliders were not saved into a preset. You were able to use them in Real Time. Although on the Pa4x if you used the 'track select' you were still able to use ...

Return of Drum ACC Bass

As perhaps one of Korgs biggest critics of the demise of the Drum ACC Bass on the sliders, I feel I must now express my thanks for the return of this feature and the many other functions that can now be assigned to the 'Assignable User Sliders A & B' with the new update 1.20 This was always a great ...

5. The change of the slider layout is a real pain. I agree 100% with others that removing the ACC volume control and others to the global page is totally unusable. Also, being in global means that there are no physical sliders to control this really important function and that you would have to ...

Hi Robkeith

Go to MENU then KEYBOARD ENSEMBLE then touch the JOYSTCK PEDAL TAB. On the Damper line at the top, put the blue square in LOWER and uncheck the upper sounds.

Hi Pete I used the ACC slider a lot to vary the ACC volumes and also Drums and Bass on the fly while playing. Yes agreed it is still there but hidden within the pages which renders it usless for live playing. I can only echo the thoughts of others here. +10000 !!!! Bring back Master DRUM/BASS/ACC to ...

I have to agree with aleocoh. The main reason I have had all the Pa Flagship Arrangers is for this ability to control and fade Drum ACC and Bass volumes from the sliders at will without leaving the main page. I have had Tyros in the past and did not like them because you could not do this, you had ...

Hi Pete Maybe a wrong choice of words, but just trying to emphasias that judging from the posts above others too are missing this feature and it cannot be got round by using the ACC expression. The only alternative we have now is as Paolo suggests. You can still alter the Drum and Bass volumes by ...

Hi Noel

In defence of all that are missing the old slider configuration, using ACC volume with the expression pedal does not achive what we have lost, as it reduces the entire ACC volume volume. I personally prefer to use the pedal for 'keyboard expression'

I raised this point a while back as owing to the good deal ofered by my agent I placed an order thinking that Korg would never alter this established good realtime feature. (I did also state that I was a wally to do so) Later I twigged the slider arrangement had been altered. However, despite this I ...

Could that function be assigned to a programmable button, or footswitch?
DonM

Im afraid not DonM. It also cannot be assigned to the user A and B sliders.

Paolo Many thanks for your input and time regarding this. However, I am aware of all the points you suggest including the Global offset as I also have a Pa9oo of which the 4x seems to have followed in this respect. Yes, you can use the fiddly virtual sliders to achieve this but it means staying in ...

Well, looks like my suspicians are confirmed. We no longer have the realtime ability to increace/decreace the Acc 1 - 5 total volume by slider 2 or any other it would seem. You will like this one folks!!. As my dealer was offering such a good P/X I pre orderd a Pa 4x thinking that Korg would never ...

Hi D
some have commented on the new screen being flimsy. Did it look up to the job in your opinion?
