Hi!

The Trinity and Triton do have the same behaviour : the effects are not automatically copied when you import a Program in a Sequence. You have to add them manually (menu pages 7 and 8 / menu "Copy from Program")

I can help you for the Trinity and the Triton (PCG ~ MIDI), but indeed, this is not in your priorities.

Hi!,

This can be useful when there is no floppy/floppy disk : broken device in the Trinity, no floppy on the computer... ;)

Hi!,

You can take a look at the Pattern page (P6) in the sequencer mode.

There you can create patterns and put them in the sequences.

Hi!

What is your MIDI interface? Some cheap USB to MIDI cables are not stable with System Exclusive messages.

Hi!

You only need to load "PRELOAD.PCG" and "SOLO.PCG" (for the Solo board sound banks). The other PCGs replace the preload data and are General MIDI compatible soundset (GENERAL) and a "producer" set (almost the same as "Preload", but in a different order).

Hi!

The V3 OS must only be ran on a Trinity with the MOSS-Tri board. Otherwise, you must run a V2 OS (2.4.1 is the latest).

This is not a downgrade, only a "branch" choice ;)

OK, don't hesitate to contact me for Trinity and Triton PCG/SNG file formats. I didn't touched at alchemist for a long time, but I remember quite well the structures.

You have my email address, or can MP me :)

I can re-investigate my code this evening if it is unclear (pfew... 13 years ago... )

Hi! Michel,

Do you have the SNG specification for the Trinity ? I can sent it, and for the Triton too ;)

You can have the contents with the PBS-Tri preload diskettes, but I don't find them on the Korg USA site.

Nope, I only removed the bottom panel, then the screws around the floppy drive.
