What makes the Kronos RH3 action not as good as the motif's?

Is the motif XF8 really much better?

I would think that a motif would have a lot of overlap with the Kronos though.

I'm planning on getting a Kronos 61 rather than the other models since I find the weighted action rather stiff. I prefer a lighter weighted action or semi weighted such as the Nord Stage 2. Which boards would be the best board to twin with the Kronos (73 keys +)? I was thinking the Nord 2, but it is ...

The editor allows editing of the different synth parameters, like AL-1, MS-20, correct?

Thanks. So, the editor doesn't allow you to edit the sequencer data. What a bummer! It is pretty useless then for my purposes. I can't imagine how awful it would be to try to use the tiny font screen to edit midi notes.

Nobody can tell me if the editor can control most of the functions of Kronos without using the screen?

I'm in the market for a new setup. I like the Kronos for the piano quality mainly but I hate the small fonts. So I'll be using the Kronos with the editor on low rez external touchscreen hooked up to a laptop. Can I do most things with the editor on my laptop - sequencer, etc? If this is not a doable ...

This is terrible. So, if I wanted to load my own sample libraries, I'd have to do without many of the Kronos sounds. That would be a deal breaker. How easy is it to create your own arp patterns on the karma software? Do you just play the pattern on the keyboard and the software recognizes it, or do you have to mouse it in? Once your have your new pattern, can you then add variations in real time to your own patterns with Karma? How is this ...

Are you saying that the CP1/5 have better rhodes than the Kronos? How about the acoustic piano of the Cp1?

Given that the CP1 action is better, I think the CP1 if it has better pianos would be the better buy for 88 keys combined with a kronos 61.

If you load 1GB of your samples and have to unload korg samples, it makes no sense... you can't use them all together which defeats the purpose, no? Also, you can only use 1GB at a time compared with 2GB on the XF. Having no proper arps is a disgrace.... the XF has 4!!!! Can you make your own arps ...
