If you can replicate the problem, that may actually be a good thing in terms of KORG debugging the restart problem. Perhaps you could share - What style, factory or custom - Indian custom style purchased from Korg India Name used to save Song - "ShreeNathajina" Is Songbook normal or DIRECT , etc ...

I tried saving a style and performance to create a new entry, it started rebooting after I typed in anew name. I tried again after it rebooted, but same thing happened again. This is with latest Pa4X Operating System v.3.0.1.

Thank you for great explanation. I did turnoff the PA4X this morning. Checkout to night to see where it got stuck!

I have custom samples about close to 250 that I am compressing. It did warn me that it will take a long time - are you sure you want to do it! It has been since Sunday afternoon (July 16) and it is still not finished!

Can someone provide some inside as to how long should I wait?

After copying all 5 files on a USB (Pa4X_OS_and_Resources_v200.pkg.001, 002, 003, 004, and 005), it took three tries (kept failing at various % complete) after it loaded the new OS, however now this is second time I got ""Error while restoring internal data" - may be I may have to go back to the ...

Figured out that .001 through .005 pkg files needed to be extracted.

Now installing and hopefully it should complete the installation.
