Re: New Kronos Processor and OS

Hi! You don't have to be worried, new kronos mount a new atom motherboard, just because old models are discontinued. New models are D2550 or N2800, (I bet it's the D2550) and, if you analyze specs and comparisons, you will discover that those motherboars/processors are just slightly faster that old ...

New Kronos Processor and OS

Hi! I have the original Kronos and I am about updating its OS to V3. But…! Does the new Kronos which is shipped of course with the v3 installed, has a better processor, with better onboard graphics etc? I am afraid that the previous model may be struggling to operate flawlessly. I mean that the new o ...

Does it seem like a serious hardware fault? The fact is that I am going to buy this instrument from a friend of mine and trade my trusty Triton Studio as well. The actual purpose of the recording was to test the Kronos and listen how it fits in a mix. Do I have to give it firstly for a check at the ...

First try recording softer. I'm assuming you're using the main outputs. Yes of course i use the main outs.. The volume knob is below the middle of the route. Also all the gain settings are set equally for every channel of the converter And the signal goes directly on it. I checked the track using ...

Kronos Internal Audio Clipping

Hi, I just recorded a piano track using a Kronos (1st Gen) and the sound is distorted-it sounds like internal clipping. The patch used was the German Grand. The main volume of the unit was below the middle. Whats going on?

It was recorded in Pro Tools HD with the 96i/o interface.

Thenks in advance

Korg nanoControll for Triton studio Combi mixer

Hi, i use to play with heavy layered Combis and i am seeking for a sufficient way to control the volumes for each timbre of a combi.

Is it possible with my nano control? I look for a similar function as e.g. i can do with my physical sliders of my Kurzweil Pc3x.

Thanks in advance

Hi, i have a fair amount of buttons on my Triton Le that are not working or they need enough pressure to respond. Is there an easy way to get it fixed?

Thanks

After some repetitive attempts to make the cd playback to work now it freezes the whole system when reading the cd (only) under the CD PLAYBACK tab. The cd drive btw, works normally when ripping or transferring data.

Confused..

Sure, it's very simple to listen to the cd (or my iPhone) from another source but there are some times that i really want the luxury of playing the cd directly from my keyboard. I use to turn off all the equipment of my studio, plug only a pair of headphones in the TS, and start playing without any ...

Thanks for your detailed reply, RE1: Power is the first that I checked and i found that the power cable is was in bad condition (i suspect the the power off happened because of it, maybe i moved it a bit accidentally) I don't have the time (and the expertise) to check its internals so i hope that ...
