PA1X PRO......broken start/stop button

Post by paul »

Hi folks,
I believe that this topic has been covered. This was no fun when performing live, broke the start/stop "PLASTIC" button.

When I opened the PA1X, found the "cheap" broken plastic pieces :x

Hopefully Tramanonni will see this thread. I can send the broken pieces to KORG and let them inspect it. :(

I hope we all soon will hear from Korg

Um...........................

Guys, is this a common problem?

I'm just about to buy a PA1X Pro Elite here, and..............

Just pretend I've written something funny, yet wise and ironic here...

My start/stop button has been broken for the past 6 months. I've learned to use the auto stop button rather effectively and I really want to thank Korg for the shorter endings in version 3.0. Maybe someday I'll buy an EC5 to make it really easy.

I can only said, (good for you Wittid) Don't only always be positive, maby next time it's yours turn to have the problem  There are many members with broken knobs (not only Start/Stop), so there are no need to bagatalize the trouble
I'm not negative, but I have never been hard with my Keyboard and I have NEVER used it on gigs, only at my home, because I don't trust it for a stabil function :( . I'm still used my good old stabil BÖHM organ (multi-keyboard on gigs
The only way to tell KORG about it are as WITTID will said "einmelden sie bitte" or something like that
I hope there will be many many more members there will repply on this theme.
Good summer to all.

Cheers

Hi Kjeld,

Sorry to hear about the broken buttons. Hope it never happens to me. I'll be especially careful from now on!

Thanks,
Rob

My Start/Stop buton is broken too, i know korg is trying to do the best for us guys but the butons are rely fragile and the pa1xpro is wery easy to scrach i dont know why the color is so easy to remove, example i had a pa80 for 6 years and he looks bethe than my new 3 year old pa1xpro,...I have repered my buttons a lots of times and i will keep fixing them until something bether comes on market. I realy play a lot on my keyboard i mean not just home practise i dont have time for that but every weekend two to three times and my keyboard looks teriblle. i have purchused a new whole cover and new buttons for my pa1xpro just so i can sell it and so i can by pa 800 or 1x...
