hi guys :)

i was wondering if there is any way you know (any hacks or firmware mods) that allows the padKontrol to be powered by USB from the computer, yet used as for it's MIDI out capabilities to control another instrument?

it'd be great if there was a way to do this
thanks in advance
peace

Yes of course. Its some what like fire wire. usb sends and receives data just like any midi cable does. Only it is bus powered to. If you are having problems make shure it is active in the BIOS setting. also if this is the first time using it make sure the drivers was installed correctly by going to the folder or hit start scroll to the korg folder and look for a file that says "install korg usb midi device" it will be in the korg usb-midi driver tools folder.
