The OASYS is a cool keyboard for sure - the realization of visionary Titanic dreams...

...yet one of many others keyboards that happily (or dare I say - jauntily!!!) surf the vast and endless Seas of Musical Creation :D

Be smart and find it.
Oh come on man, it can't be that hard to go on to zshare and post something.

Heres the challenge: post an audio clip containing a lead, pad, drums and some bass. (we'll leave out acoustic instruments since nothing sounds better than the real thing)

Then I'll do the same and we'll let the other members of the forum decide who wins.

You're not scared are you :?:
ok here we are... just replicate this sound... I'll start with something with only an lfo and a few layers... if you can do something like this with your software I'll put another file with a lead with some dynamics and not only a single note without dyn...

good work!

Thanks Lorenzo, I'll have a go at producing that sound when I have some spare time, meanwhile here is a new track:

At the 0.24 mark, I crank the Sonnox(Sony Oxford) Inflator up to 100% and the track explodes into life; try doing that on a hardware keyboard  .

Got to go, lots of work to do...................

you're not talking about keyb effects here... when I record I use digital performer and many other people use external sequencer too. I never used internal seq (sometimes for little drafts) to create my music. So you're confusing bread and butter here... anyway, don't be hurry, you can spent how much time you want on that sound.

oh, I forgot... I don't know if you have a pro or home studio, if you're into business etc etc... but pay attention cos the track you posted here has many terrible clip problems... seems you should pay attention to the limiter, compressor or anything else you used for the mastering section.
Hope this help.

.........
If you wanna bash "hardware" keyboards (i think you ment: PHYSICAL MUSIC WORKSTATION/SAMPLER),
than what are you ding on this forum? are paid by some software compny, to push people from real workstations?
because this forum is called KORG FORUMS, discussion about KORG products, not hardware vs software, btw, if you hate Hardware than how does computer run? or you don't have hard drive, motherboard, CPU, etc... ?
First research what hardware means, don't misuse it, like many computer geeks do...

Yep, sounds like uninspiring software to me. And, yes, the M3 and OASYS can boost sounds while recording. That's one of the functions of the sliders.

jazzman...
But thats when it is played by copy cat want-to-be's and not seasoned musicains.
Great point and right on =D>

nedim,
You ever tried SWISS from the ALPS?
Pretty good stuff. Right up there, for sure. In the early 50s I lived for a while below Kleine Scheidig (can't remember if that's the right spelling...probably not. Apologies) and would hike down for some of that in Grindelwald. It'd give me enough energy to climb back up, so never got fat. :)

Unknown,
Re Apple Pie: Then you should have some of my wife's fresh AP, fresh made from the apples in our orchard.

But, if we're talking pies now, the best is Key Lime from certain spots in the Everglades WAY off the tourist track. :D Then there's Pecan Punch Pie in New Orleans.

Excuse me...the kitchen calls =P~ Homemade chocolate chip paradise cookies...still warm!
