can't get pk working
so i just picked up the padkontrol and i'm having trouble getting it to work. i'm trying to get it to trigger my sampler, a sp-404. i set the pads to channel 1 and the sampler to channel 1, then tried sending every possible note from c- to 127 but nothing triggers the 404. i know the sampler's midi in and the cable are working because i move the cable over to a midi keyboard i have and it triggers just fine (on channel 1). i do have the pk on bus power, and someone told me it won't send midi signals like that, but i don't know because my computer sees the signals it sends just fine. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to set the notes on the pk as well and make sure midi notes aren't been filtered on your SP404
