i'm an absolute MIDIot

Post by TheOctoberProject »

yeah...i got the Legacy bundle and LOVE that stuff...but...i got a padkontrol to use mostly for a remote for Live 6...sometimes i'm sending the command i want to send (for example, the global record arm) and that's all fine and dandy...but...sometimes, i get a note or a drum sound when i try to set up a different scene...anyone know why this is? like i said, i seem to be half Corky and half midiot...so...anything to help stop feeling like i'm lickin' windows would be great...thyyyyaannnx.

No sure what you mean by'when i try to set up a different scene'?Have you got a track armed that the pd would be triggering when you select the same CC or note?as long as your scenes are on different midi channels and the tracks in your daw match you should be ok.Can you identify where the drum hits coming from?Thats the first place i'd look.see what could be causing it to trigger when your on a different scene.Make sure your tracks are set to different midi channels first and your scenes correspond and you should be ok.

Hope this helps
