Link to Korg Forum Downloads

Post by Reuben »

G'day Sharp and Moderators,
Great Form - just one request/suggestion. Can you put a link somewhere to direct us back to your main page where we can find downloads etc.
There are many users who don't know this page exists! A link to Irish Acts would be great too!
All the best,
John

No need to trouble moderators for that:

http://www.korgforums.com/?show=1

this is link to download section, just choose for which keyboard you want to download files.

http://www.irishacts.com
That's Sharps page, very good indeed. Download his music, very professionally produced album, high emotions.

This is download section, Lorenzo is the character.

Now just put those url to bookmarks or tabs and your good to go.

Thanks shrike,
I noticed the Triton page you refer to has a Yamaha Piano Multisample file which when unpacked comes to about 55mb - too big for Pa1x's memory of 32mb. Have you or anyone else reading this tried to reduce its size to the point where it might fit onto a pa1x - perhaps by using only every 2nd multisample? This is beyond my expertise but I would be great if someone could try this.
Thanks & regards,
John

Don't bother with that Yamaha multisample, it's no good at all.
On this page: http://www.dedicatedtotriton.net/downloads.htm you have a good Steinway that's about 8MB.
There are two multisamples of that steinway, two different velocities of the same sound. Assign them to program in Pa1x. I don't know if it's possible to assign both multisamples in Pa1x's sound engine, didn't actually work on Pa1x.
But if you can't, use any preset piano sound, assign just first multisample (that's Stwy G 1) and save, it should work.
You can check this topic:

We elaborated on the matter of multisamples pretty much.
If Pa1x can have 2 multisamples in one program, than everything written in there relates to Pa1x too.

It should work on Pa1x - you can have more than one set of multisamples - I'll give it a go - thanks. You don't happen to know the source of this steinway do you? I already have one from Alex (galettouille) but it doesn't have 2 levels of velocity.

Well, link above is all that I know about that steinway.
If by "source" you refer to musician who made those steinway multisamples, then no, I don't know who made it.
That puzzles me, seems to me that many of you know each other by names and, even more strange, by nicknames.
You solved my dilemma about Pa1x (has two multisamples in one program, didn't know that, didn't ever play on Pa1x) so your problem is solved too, just do exactly as described in posts about those multisamples.
