Zero Edit software not installing in OS X aluminium iMac

Post by slug »

Hi.

Anyone else had a problem installing Zero Edit software on the new iMac? I dont have a white iMac so dont know if this is machine specific, although the software installed fine when I tested it on my friends windoze machine.

The installer begins on the mac, and then stops straight away and asks to try the installation again, which I have many times. My disc permissions are all in order, so am a bit stuck.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

If you open the Console from Applications/Utilities do you see any pertinent messages being reported ?

I am also having a bit of a error on my MBP, thank god i have no issues installing or setting up the mixer ..

I keep getting a Recv Timeout for Channel Listing

I am on a intel mbp 2ghz , running OSX 10.4.10

so indeed ... when installing the soft you should check the version compatibility, OSX version, and do go about browsing the logs.

you can easily open up a console terminal and see if anything is going wrong
else post your system info, maybe we'll notice something

hope it helps ...
