Hi -

You can download my archive of about 200,000 patches here:

http://www.knect.ie/OASYS.html

The file is called DX_Patches.zip, and is about 11MB in size.

All the files are were acquired from other collectors on the Web. They are all system exclusive (.SYX) files. One of the folders says DX1 - but they are readable by the DX7 and OASYS (I;ve tested them). In fact the DX1 folder is very nice since whoever created it originally organised the sounds into banks of individual instruments which is fantastic. So you'll find entire banks of clavs, harps, guitars...

Note that a minority of the files archived here do not load onto OASYS as they are not full banks. Also - there are many repeats of patches across the banks. And while many of these patches will sound a little bare, they at least act as excellent starting points to make better patches yourself (remember the OASYS control surface will allow you to perform some rapid and effective edits in a way the original DX synths didn't).

Hope that helps.

Regards,
Kevin.

Wow, thanks Kevin. How long did it take you to amass that collection?
