Hi,
Does anyone know how to use the controller to tweak midi patterns during playback?
It works fine when recording patterns and cycling through different sounds but during playback there is no response...which makes it kind of redundant for live performance, so I figure there must be some setting problem.
I'm using it in Ableton.
Thanks...

If I understand you correctly, this is nothing to do with Korg, it's an Ableton issue.
A track in Live has different monitor modes, you can monitor input, you can play the track back, or be in "auto" which defaults to input moniroting while recording, playback monitoring all other times.
So, when Live is playing a clip, it can't be responding to MIDI input on that channel.
What you need to do is turn the "OVR" overdub indiciator off in the transport, and leave the track record-enabled. Now, your live playing (ie controller tweaking) will be sent to the synth, as well as the MIDI being played back in the clips.
