Also thanks for inserting in your above "how-to"post that you have to scroll right to get to Auto Sampling Setup. That drove me bonkers the day I got my M3 trying to find it. Might do the same for someone else, too. Fo some dumb reason I just didn't expect a scroll bar up there.

No I hadn't. Thanks for the lead! Haven't looked yet at Pt 2.

I found it curious that in his look at the pads (key) he played some chords with KARMA on, but said nothing about why the chords were playing with a pattern/rhythm. That seemed a bit misleading for someone looking at this as advice about buying one. Especially since, at least IMO, coupling KARMA with the pads is such a powerful feature for stage/live use.

And I wish he'd introduced KARMA with a better description of what it is, just a phrase or two about it (pardon the pun).

However, this piece was probably never intended as a real marketing tool.

My $0.02, and I agree James Asher is an interesting artist.

And it seems like James Asher is really liking the M3, also he plays New-Age music, it's actually one genre I'm intending to play but does the M3 fit for that genre?

Yep, but not as well as an OASYS, IMO.

Don't forget that one of the biggies about NewAge is the way you tweak sounds, rather than using presets.

A big advantage with the M3 for NewAge (of course OASYS, too) is KARMA, undoubtedly.

The only reason that for me the OASYS is better is the screen size and the way you can get graphically into envelopes, etc.

Go for it, the M3 is finest kind.
