Loading my own sound into a TR

Post by triscuit »

Hey guys!

Is there a way to load my own sounds into my TR? I just bought an SD card.

I have a series of .wav files that I would like map out on my TR. Is there a way to convert them to a format that the TR can read?

Any help would be amazing.

Yes you can, but you'll have to buy some RAM also.

Where do I find this RAM?

Do I need the sampling upgrade or just some RAM?

You need just 64MB of RAM.
I bought it on eBay from "fourniersean" (nickname on ebay). He is a serious vendor and sold me pristine quality memory (Kingston).
You can also find him typing "Korg RAM" into eBay search field.

To convert .WAV files into Korg format you have 2 ways:
- using A-Wave Studio on a PC
- buying EXB-SMPL option and a SD Card
Life without music would be a mistake
